The First Settlement

The Immeranians

These first peoples were located on the large, southern island off the coast of Auvindi. As a tropical island, they managed to burn the soil for fertile land. Crops were planted in circle formation, most likely due to the circle being the written magic, and inside was the only area of effect. Many crops seem to be of yams and sugar canes. Because of this, trade was necessary, so they became excellent in seafaring. Boats became a necessity, as did writing. Writing was invented here, due to the amount of shipments they were sending and receiving. Later shipment records show just about 5,000 ship entries in a week. Most of the population seems to come from Dofuans, with the occasional Khaosai. Additionally, many argentavis bones were found. The City Of Immerania was in grid-form, with cobbled streets and stone walls, and furnaced clay for the tiled roofs and shingles. In the center of the city, is a large building. Though it is gone now, it is simple to assume that was the government building in Immerania. Here, many books were found, much like the story of the first magic, along with many shipment records, and surprisingly, scientific books on experimentation done with magic. One book was found detailing a theory on transferring what is now known as mana onto written word to result in written magic. However, no further books were found on any later experiments for this theory. It is suspected that this library of their knowledge was burned, due to the amount of stones found with large scorch marks around the entire city.
