Bayv Norans

The Bayv Norans

The Bayv Norans were located along the Ormun River, in modern day Racha. The most interesting part of this culture is that it’s communities aren’t enclosed in a wall, even though they had the threat of Prakas and Dragons to worry about. They were out in the open, with some important buildings on top of a mound pyramid. On top of these mounds, there are no residue for what could be considered a house. Instead there’s stone pedestals, and, although there are some buildings on top, it could be said that they were governmental or religious buildings instead. The tallest mound contains an elaborate decoration of the Bayv Noran’s religion, early Daridian, depicting the creation of humans and magic. There are pillars surrounding the center, and carved on top are various animals. No records along the river mention Prakas, Khaosai, or Dofuans. However, there were many various pottery items. They contain no stories, no words, and no pictures. If there is decoration on the pottery, then it is of abstract designs, possibly mirroring nature. There were more shards of pottery the closer there are to the taller mounds. Food wise, various types of maize were found along the river. Mysteriously, there is no evidence of magic found on these fields. Which means either this civilization was too early for magic, or they simply didn’t have any mana available. This is strange, due to the fact that the pottery has been dated to after magic was discovered in the area. Magical items have been found older that the Bayv Norans. It is possible that this civilization had a ban on magic, or had found a way to farm efficiently without magic and thus found it useless for this particular aspect of life.
