Zurin

Description

Zurins exists in all color variations, with white zurins being the rarest. They come in different sizes but rarely have a diameter larger than 4 cm.

Effects

A zurin has a natural luminosity that brightly illuminates its immediate surroundings and makes it appear as if it is a cloudy day in the wider area. Several zurins can illuminate entire areas.

Usage

They are used in glass lamps and illuminate the main streets of larger cities at night. The lamps are also used in large taverns, inns and the houses of wealthy people.
Mages use zurins during missions in order to be able to cast spells at night or to explore caves.

Where to find them

Zurins can be found in gemstone mines. They are usually found as small veins, but there are also isolated finds.
