Aurin

Description

Aurines come in all color variations, only the white aurines are rarer. They come in different sizes, but their maximum size is 4 cm in diameter.

Effects

Aurines have the ability to store magio, which is why they are often used by mages to build up a supply of magio. Despite intensive research, it is still not known how much magio an aurine can store and whether there is a limit at all. There are known aurins in which magio has been stored for generations and which therefore contain an unknown but seemingly inexhaustible amount of magio.

Usage

Aurines are only used by mages and every adept who passes their mage test is given a small aurin in which they regularly store some magio so that they can access it in emergencies.

Finding locations

They can be found in small groups in gemstone mines and are usually located near normal gemstones.
