Fallen Timbers

The City of Fallen Timbers has a bloody and devastating history. Previously named Swaying Timbers tragedy struck the thriving city when a meteor crashed into the Great Tree. When the meteor hit, many were killed and the some of the city structures were damaged leaving a giant crater in the earth. The leaders of Swaying Timbers called upon Foxboro for aid but they refused due to conflicts in the trading of Blustone to Swaying Timbers in exchange for Greenstone. Without the help of Foxboro, the city began to slip into decay. As the years went on the cosmic debris turned the Greenstone deposits a deep purple and altered their traits. The fragile crystals easily crumble to dust but their mystic properties remain, being mixed into potions giving the consumer control over a certain element. However, only beings who lived in Fallen Timbers when the meteor crashed can be affected by the Violetdust.   The Great Tree inched closer and closer to the ground until it finally cracked and smashed the entrance to the crystal mine trapping hundreds of miners. After weeks of attempting to rescue any survivors, there was a massive explosion from inside the crater. Thinking it was the end of life in Swaying Timbers the remaining citizens gather around the crater t await their demise. Once the smoke cleared there appeared a tunnel and out of it emerged the first elementals. With a new found hope, and the elementals ability to reshape the very earth, they renamed the city Fallen Timbers and began to put their society back together. They now specialize in potion making and mining both Violetdust and iron from inside the mountains. Since they were denied aid from Foxboro they’ve vowed to take revenge on the city. In order to protect their home from outsiders who want their potions for themselves, the few elementals among them used their power to erect a giant stone wall from coast to coast. It’s been 200 years since the creation of the wall and no one has had contact with them since.
