Rushaig (rue-shyg)

An elusive, mystical and majestic creature found only in the deep wilderness of Gerthonist, they are believed to be vessels of great fortune if you are lucky enough to come across one. They are large ruminant mammal with a white coat and large golden branch-like antlers, they are also reported to have a golden glow that contrast against there dark eyes. Not much is known about these strange animals due to their evasive nature, travelers who have been fortunate enough to see one of these animals have reported that there eyes can see into ones soul and if they deem one worthy they will gift them with good fortune thou if they deem one to have a corrupt soul then that person will suffer great misfortune usually resulting in a sad, lonely, and/or gruesome death. It is unknown how much this legend is based on fact and how much has been corrupter by personal bias or changed over years of re-telling's.
