Arbetsur (Ahr-bets-her)

The Arbetsur are small mammal-like shadow creature found scavenging around the urban areas of Gothienlets and Apfebusu. They have dark grey bodies with transparent spikes/plates along their spines, these plates along with their ears, checks, paws, and end of their tails contain photoproteins that add splashes of colour to the creature. The colours that are produced by the photoproteins change when different chemicals are added, these chemicals change depending on the hormones' in the Arbetsur's system thus meaning they can be used to determine the creatures mood. For example, blue tends to indicate a calm or docile creature were as red is more hostile and tends to occur when the creature feels threatened, Arbetsur even have small amounts of control of these colour changes and are able to use them in order to better camouflage into the environment. 
Arbetsur are nocturnal creatures that can usually be found in back allies and along the streets scavenging for food and trinkets which they will bring back to their nests. They are social creatures and live in small family units and will nest in any suitable place they can find such as behind or on top of building, and in holes in the walls. Curious but cautious by nature they often collect small objects that they find interesting that they use to decorate their nests, it is also possible to befriend these creatures as they are relatively friendly by providing gifts to them which they will reciprocate offering gifts and helpful objects in return. The only time they may become aggressive is if they feel threatened, such as if you chase or corner them, or when they are protecting their young.

Diet : Omnivorous opportunistic scavengers, they will eat anything they can find left out of in the trash particularly scraps of meat, insects, nuts, and berries.
