Diamondites are some of the most feverishly creative, imaginative, and determined I have ever encountered and I have encountered very many kinds of folk ~ Ven Veil-Cloak

The City Of Diamonds residents also known as Diamondites are a large producer of luxury products due to a large Automaton population not needing to eat, drink ,or sleep.
The City Of Diamonds current residents are mostly former slaves or their descendants. Automatons are the majority of the Diamondites with the rest being mainly Dwarves , Gnomes, Molen, Pango, and Kobolds though most other races are also there and accounted for but in smaller numbers.
The Dark Elves who practice slavery are not happy with the Diamondites success as a free settlement though out right attacks are rare as the freed and escaped slave population of the city is growing population and armaments.
The rarer Dark Elf abolitionists are conflicted as though they are proud of their success but saddened or angered that even the abolitionists Dark Elves were kicked out and not allowed back in.
Gnomes of the Crimson Underground see them more as more a curiosity than threats or allies and regularly trade with the Diamondites for their luxury goods and extreme excesses of food.
The Dwarves of the Crimson Underground have a deep and personal relationship with the Diamondites do to there continued help and kindness gives them great trade deals and alliances with the Dwarves.

Ideals

Courtship Ideals

Courtship and marriage varies depending on mostly on race but their are commonalities unique to Diamondites:

1. Courtship starts by the gifting of jewels or artisan goods.
   
2. One common courtship activity is the dancing of stars where the couple dances for 1 hour starting at midnight when the smaller glowing diamonds start glowing which resembles stars.
   
3. The midday heart is another common courtship activity where the couple cooks a small feast and there is a cake shaped as a heart which is split between the couple.
   
4. A common engagement ritual the crafting of an an artistic item together.
   
5. For the crafting of an an artistic item together the wedding is held after the item is complete.
6. The exchanging of weapons or armor is anther common wedding practice.

Courtship for Automatons has some unique variants:

1. The gifting of add-ons to the Automatons most commonly decorative to either declare interest or to get more serious.
2. The designing of projects is a common courtship activity.
3. The dance of silver is a special courtship activity in which many Automatons couples dance in the town square to celebrate there new found freedom.
4. Exchanging of magic items is a way to propose.
5. The designing of a new Automatons is both part of the engagement and wedding ceremony.
