Dresrith Ruedoll-Abbinn is a toy inventor that invented automatons as companions and toys for small children sold the rights of production to The City Of Diamond as a toy concept.
The Dark Elves realized that they would be even better as an unpaid workforce. At first they weren't the brightest tech but as time went on they became smarter and more aware though for a long while the Dark Elves denied such claims by the leadership for a time.
But their claims of their lack of awareness was shattered 2436 when the Automaton started asking too many questions for the Dark Elves' liking. Their attempts to reprogram many Automatons ended in large amounts of violence from them. This eventually lead to the revolt in The City Of Diamonds.
The violence radically changed public perceptions and fear of automatons grew due to out numbering the Dark Elves in many cities the leadership tried to quell concern especially in the City Of Diamonds this in the end did not go well.
