Estiefort's Legacy

Estiefort's Legacy was created in 602, when the Enphunian Empire utilised both arcana and high explosive gunpowder to destroy large sections of the bridge between Eocomin and The Never-Ending Waste, sinking massive amounts of landmass into the ocean for the sake of preventing Urusheen forces from flanking their armies, shortly before a stalemate was formed between what is known as the modern borders of the two countries.
While little resided there, as is characteristic of the Never-Ending Wastes, the move was seen as an affront to nature and was widely condemned by the civilized nations of Erra - Including numerous notable individuals not affiliated with any countries. The Enphunian Empire would come under attack by a small band of dragon disciples of Daien, which played a large part in stalling the armies long enough for the stalemate at the Urusheen border to be formed.
The landmark is characterised by its harsh, jagged cliffs, unstable soil and man-made rock formations. It is advised for individuals to stay away from the area as a result due to potential health hazards.
