Eros

Welcome to the world of Eros.   It is a Modern Future Fantasy World that is very akin to Onward (watch that movie if you have disney plus btw.) Magic is used equally with technology, not opposed to it. You have the modern trappings of the world, phones, computers, the MagiNet, an analogue for instagram and linkedIn that need good names, stuff like that. Problems can be solved with magic and technology, but think of the world being operated by artificers and legit magicians. Gods don't have much space/power in this world, not many people believe in them because the miracles and acts that the gods are usually known for, are few and not as fantastical as once storied.   So roughly 240~ years ago there was some form of calamity and the legends say: the sky blacked out and the world shook for hours, before the great green sky lights spoke in the language and the voice of the gods and the world was turned into paradise. The climate is regulated and the land is plentiful, resetting anything taken from the land or massively changed (Crops, ore, vegetation, etc.) at the end of each 7 day cycle returns to its previous state, unless built and sanctified using specific spells and words past down by geomancers (they kinda work like consultants for affixing construction changes. If they don't get a chance to come in, potentially a week of work could be lost depending on has been done to the land.). The Weather is the same each week day, (rainy on wednesday, foggy on friday, etc.) No one remembers/ knows the total truth of what happened but thats kind of the mystery!   You start as a group of adventurers trying to make your brand/group relevant seeing as how you all just graduated (or maybe dropped out) from the "Bartlebe Everett's Adventuring and Research School. (I'm not super sold on the name, I thought BEARS was funny, but we can do better.) You are at the bottom rung, no one knows who you are and you've done some boring baby quests that we can come up with together, but you're about two months in and you all need to make rent for the building/home you rented out for the adventuring biz.
