The Flying City
The Flying City was a flying city that was famed for its craftsmanship of something until the dreaded pirates blew it up.
History
Following the Antarctic Disaster, large swathes of the Southern hemisphere became inhabitable for people with at least delta-level passivity. Refugees were shunned from large cities, in fear that somehow the nuon-poisoning will spread. Instead, they built a city that needed not touch the ground.
Natural Resources
A portion of plants are grown in greenhouses in the City, as well as livestock, but most of their food and other resources come from trading. Given their diverse backgrounds, the citizens had unique craftsmanship that soon became sought after all around the globe. I have yet to decide what they actually make. The City is mainly solar-powered, which they had a good deal of, being in the desert.
