Your cities are safe. Your wilds are peaceful. But who or what keeps them safe? that answer is a simple one; Erewestan holds the dangers at bay.
At least, they used to do so. they sent a request for help to all the corners of the world, for they fear they will need it soon. Evil is brewing, crime is rising and monsters are stirring. Many cities have sent material aid, coin, gear, alchemical and magical aids but few send their heroes as they think it’d be their doom.
You, however, find yourself travelling to Erewestan. For reasons you alone are privy to. Do you seek coin, glory or adventure? Or were you sent as a representative of your home or maybe you’re a promising graduate of a prestigous magical school, sent as advertisement in hopes of attracting more new students? or on the contrary, have you come to tip the balance and destroy Erewestan to unleash chaos unto the world? or maybe some entirely different reason?
Whichever reason yours is, the city council is holding a meeting and requires the presence of every new arrival. Do not dawdle, soon you shall receive your first assignment to help Erewestan hold the line.
