A world where magic and technology grew side by side. Humans share the world along with Elves and Goblins, as well as monsters and beasts. As part of the international curriculum, some students can choose to pursue careers to help keep the world safe from threats, both magical and natural, at special schools called Academies.   In the past, most countries have had civil wars over who should have control over land. Humans have historically invaded and conquered most of the known world and made Elves and Goblins lesser beings in their eyes. Recently, this has changed and now Goblins, Elves and Humans have mostly settled on a democratically run society where every being has the right to be heard.   Or at least that is what they want in theory...
