The Hunt
The Hunt is a lost artifact of the Lord of the Hunt. The Hunt has not been seen since it was lost over 20,000 years ago. The Hunt is a bow with black gnarled wood interlaced with veins of gold. The Hunt, once a beautiful bow, is now cursed. Black rot has formed throughout the bow and anyone attuned to the bow is now afflicted with the curse, Hunter Becomes the Hunted.
The Hunt offers the user a +1 to hit.
Wild Roots. On a hit, the user may activate the Wild Roots. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or become restrained until after the end of their next turn. The DC is equal to 8 + the user's DEX bonus + the user's proficiency bonus. The user may use Wild Roots a number of times equal to their proficiency bonus. They regain the use of Wild Roots after a long rest.
Hunter's Quickness. The user now gains an additional 1d10 on their initiative roll.
Pack Killer. Once on each of your turns when you make a weapon attack, you can make another attack with the same weapon against a different creature that is within 5 feet of the original target and within range of your weapon.
Hunter Becomes the Hunted. Your arrows draw the ire of the creatures you strike. The last creature that you hit on your turn, barring humanoids, has advantage on their attack rolls against you on their next turn.
