Session Report 67

General Summary

Itzal, Cambio, and Tazmeth stumbled upon a firbolg that was chained up. The trio decide to unlock the fella and give him some water and food.
The fella introduced himself as Sloan, a cleric who went undercover as a pirate to learn more about these devil worshiping bastards. Sloan decided to venture with the party and they gladly accepted his company as the cleric might prove some use in battle.
As the party searched the main floor of the castle they stumbled upon a few guards, Tev’s corpse, and Sloan’s gear. After searching around for some time, the party came to the conclusion that going up must be the way and they took the stairs to the floor above.
On the second floor the party stumbled across some rooms, yet before much could be investigated or looted a minotaur came charging up the south hallway followed by devils. Sloan holds off the Minotaur while the others fight the devils and pirates ambushing from the rear.
Cambio and Tazmeth survived on the rear. Sloan fell on the frontline as Itzal was banished, without even the utterance of a spell.
Though things looked grim for the Muskrats plus Sloan, the party bounced back as Itzal reappeared and revived Sloan. With renewed life and strength, Sloan healed the damage stricken Tazmeth. Together, the three Muskrats and Sloan mauled the devils.
As Gunter, Ford, and Afton fell, more devils come from the rear. Tazmeth and Sloan are fighting for their lives, backs slammed against an ice wall.
With a few moonbeams, fire bolts, and punches, the devils were mushed on the floor.
The Muskrats ended the session with Cambio licking his wounds.
