Session Report 40

General Summary

Sauvek lay bloody while Echo vente-tres attempted to hold off the ghastly lump of flesh yet failed. 
As the echo of Tev dissipated, Zonraven successfully revived Sauvek, sacrificing a diamond in the process.
Unluckily, with no echo blocking the mass of flesh, Sauvek and Zonraven were exposed to the full force and fury of this abusive sack of lard.
In a flash Sauvek's body lay a crumpled bloody mess. 
At the sight of this bloodshed and death Zonraven grew enflamed with vengeance and sought to destroy this lump of flesh even if it meant his own destruction.
While Zonraven fought on the east flank, Tev and Shade were preoccupied by forces to their south and west. Humanoids cloaked in darkness and creatures with droopy necks rushed at the pair. Tev's echo fought valiantly while Shade popped off some shots. 
In a quick minute the muskrats had killed the creatures on their flanks and restored temporary peace.
The surviving trio cleaned up the mess of blood and guts while Cambio and Itzal approached from behind.
Tev told Ezzie to wait at the entrance. 
The muskrats took a long rest in order to give Zonraven time to rest and recuperate.
As they rested and relaxed Cambio questioned Tev extensively about the human's relationship with the young kidnapped girl but Tev said little other than he knew her long ago. 
When the muskrats were done snoozing they set off north.
North they found a room with two doors, one locked, and one unlocked.
The door was not unlocked by any muskrat but by one of the cloaked humanoids. 
Unfortunately for Tev he was reaching out for the knob at that exact moment.
Roll Initiative!!!
The muskrats took a quick lead in the fighting yet because of the ineptitude of one unnamed muskrat, much lightning damage was delivered onto the party. 
Woopsies.
The fighting continues on yet now the muskrats must vacate the current room after Tev's eldritch blast and are split up in the process.   Tev fought some man of magic and fled in the process after a big cone of ice slammed down onto him.
The rest of the party fought some tentacle creature and barely won with most the party hurt or near death.
That is when the man of magic hit them from behind. He blasted, zapped, and fried the muskrats with all he had stored up. Yet the muskrats were successful in fending off the man of magic after Tev reunited with them.
The party ended their session with the man of magic dissapearing into thin air, the party left only with lingering questions and injuries.
