Session Report 18

General Summary

The Muskrats' numbers were heavily depleted due to injuries to various party members. Marv, Sam Urai, and Shade were the only three healthy enough to continue fighting through the hordes of constructs controlled by the Dollmaker. The greatest challenge of the Dollmaker's lair would come when the Muskrats were at their weakest. The three remaining Muskrats would find themselves facing three hounds, two watchmen, five huntsmen, and a myrmidon. Backed into a tight hallway, Sam Urai and Marv would hold the chokepoint and face the monstrous onslaught of the enemies. After a battle of attrition, the Muskrats would escape from the tight hallway and enter into a larger hallway to face down the myrmidon. During this next battle, Marv would be torched by the myrmidon's flamethrower yet again. He would fall and be close to death once again. As his vision began to fade away and as he was drawn towards a saxophone playing lizardfolk, a smelly beggar used his whip to fly over the myrmidon and deposit a nether berry into his mouth to revive him. The remaining party members would finish the myrmidon off and continue through the dungeon. 
Unfortunately, the Muskrats would quickly run into a horde of weaving spiders and a myrmidon. The weaving spiders would quickly overrun the party and destroy various items of the party. Notably, Shade lost his armor, Sam Urai his lantern, Marv his rope. It quickly became apparent that the gods are against Marv. He was struck by a poison needle and found himself paralyzed. As he laid there paralyzed he was quickly cut apart by the spinning blades of the spiders and promptly carried away by the myrmidon. Sam Urai and Shade would find themselves defeated and on the ground. All hope seemed lost for the party, until Jerry, the smelly beggar came dashing in and lashing with his whip at the myrmidon. As the myrmidon exploded Marv was struck and his charred corpse was left smoldering on the ground. Jerry pulled from his nose a diamond and began to perform a spell. The spell resurrected Marv, but Jerry's spell was not entirely effective. Marv's left arm below his elbow did not regain feeling and had become entirely useless.
