Session Report 16

General Summary

The Muskrats left Devil's Gate prison after sealing a deal with Obsidian, a mysterious figure high up in the chain of power within the walls of Kannaksen. This sealed deal gave the Muksrats their treasured boat back and even gave the party 3500 for their illegal drugs. In exchange, the party was deputized and given the mission of curb stomping that punkass named Dollmaker.   The Muskrats realized the ensuing crawl through the fortress of the dollmaker would be a dangerous one and so decided to stock up on various goods before heading out. In the process of supplies acqusition, a few of the members hit a wall when dealing with the only potion seller in the city. This time defeated by the potion maker, Marv was determined to return and bust this monopoly after busting the dollmakers skull.   After gathering supplies the party set out on the water, sailing towards the small island where the dollmaker was said to reside, deep below the surface in ancient caverns.   The island was small and the boat itself had to stay back as the party ventured towards the entrance lest the ship run aground. So, as Marv, Itzal, Sam Urai, Sauvek, Cambio, and Shade, the rest of the ships crew stayed aboard the floating vessel instead of descending into the murky cavernous depths below.   As the party reached the entrance to these ancient caverns, many a wall or walkway had crumbled away. It seemed that either the dollmaker preferred a crumbling and decaying hideout or the criminal mastermind had bought this place pre-renovation and wanted to build his own hideout and not one of those store bought, prebuilt lairs. The party pondered this as they entered the caverns.   As the Muskrats walked carefully through the caverns, a few small encounters with beasts of a mechanical nature took place. Some were similar to the ones fought above in the alleyway while others were all new types of foes. Yet the Muskrats vanquished each of these foes and ended their day by barricading themselves in a corner room of the lair and slumbering for a tight 8 hours.
