Session Report 12
General Summary
After slaying two of the three doppelgangers inside the Devil's Den, the party regrouped to focus on their one goal at hand, saving Shade. After all what kind of party would the Muskrats be if they left a party member behind. They would never do such a shameful act.
As the more competent members of the party discussed their plan of action to assault the drug den that lied below, Marv and some others went for a bath. However, unbeknownst to these waters had dangerous creatures lurking within them. Shortly after the swim party had ended, the group traversed back down into the depths of the Devil's Den.
Led by Cambio who was sure he saw his long lost adoptive father in the midst of crack addicted tabaxis, the party found themselves in a pirate's clove. They emerged into the large dank cavern that held pirates, doppelgangers, and a large pirate ship where raspy tabaxi cries for help came from. Naturally, a fight ensued. It would be written that an Epic fight ensued, but unfortunately it is exactly what you expect from a Muskrats tussle. Sam Urai fought bravely against multiple pirates at once as he tanked multiple scimitar slashes. Cambio strategically blasted away foes from far away with his eldritch blast. And the dynamic duo of Suavek and Marv heroically splashed around in the water with a giant crocodile.
Itzal misty stepped away from the action to rescue Shade from the pirate ship's bowels. With the ship's lower deck trapdoor locked up tight, Itzal used his obese tortle mass to smash downwards into the metal trapdoor, down into the dark and quite possibly murdering two tabaxi drug slaves with his large body. Itzal was able to rescue Shade, as well as 25 or so other malnourished tabaxis.
The two emerged to a scene of the party being ravished by two remaining dopplegangers and the giant crocodile. The crocodile, Thousand Teeth, was very unhappy that such unruly characters had come into its lair, but with the additional help of Shade and Itzal, the remaining foes had been defeated.
The foes were dead, the tabaxis were rescued including Mongo, Cambio's adoptive father, but that begged the question of what now. The 1st of Autumn was quickly approaching and now the party were unsure what to do with the large group of drug ridden tabaxis. The party decided quickly to load up all of the pirate's loot and cannons to sell throughout Ginnel's Beach, but great debate was had regarding the surviving but blind and crippled tabaxis. Sam Urai wished to convert them into an expendable army that would be slaughtered in mere seconds of any conflict. Marv and Cambio (Cambio who wished only the best for his poor old father) wished that the Tabaxi take over the Devil's Den and continue to run the establishment. After all, the Devil's Den was already being run by 'dirty tabaxis' so the townsfolk would notice no difference. Kelgac wished to slaughter all the Tabaxi and bathe in their blood like the disgusting beast that he is. However, in the end, the surviving mostly blind tabaxis decided that it be best that they stay in Ginnel's Beach.
With the party's stay in Ginnel's quickly coming to an end as they finished selling their last cannon, Cambio locked eyes with a very menacing half-orc. Nub, "The White Wolf of the Hunt" was back.
