Session Report 105

General Summary

The Muskrats took the time to prepare for their journey to the depths of Flu'Toquoa Lake. The Muskrats traveled to Halvoy and did a considerable amount of shopping. The party picked up potions of water breathing and Tazmeth acquired a pair of Goggles of Night. The party spent some time relaxing until it was time for their lake trip. Tazmeth spent the time training with a master of stealth to prepare for more covert operations. Itzal spent his makling scrolls to earn a small sum of coin. Cambio spent the time with his wonderful fiancee Vifrima. Upon their arrival to Galadagos, the Muskrats did a bit of investigating on Flu'Toquoa Lake. The Muskrats learned more about the fates that other expeditions met when diving into the center of the lake. The Muskrats learned that numerous prior expeditions were attacked by various creatures at the bottom of the lake and few individuals survived. The Muskrats tapped the help of a ship captain by the name of Wuzal to ferry them to the center of the lake. Wuzal shared that the sides of the lake are flanked with sheer cliffs that are hundreds of feet high. It is believed that someone in the past or perhaps during a battle of powerful mages, the center of the Kingdom of Tortoi was lowered and the lake formed slowly over time. What created the lake and what could be at the bottom of the lake?
