Session Report 101
General Summary
The Muskrats stood before the massive figure of Sir Eer who now had taken on draconic-like features and was clad head to toe in a crystal-like armor. Brother Benignitas the 2nd Commandment of Kindness and Mother Aequalitas the 8th Commandment of Equality also joined Sir Eer. He brushed them aside, boldly declaring that he did not want nor need their assistance. He lifted his massive black blade, one that the Muskrats easily believed weighed a few hundred pounds over his head and then swung it down with ease to point it at Dami. He told her that she was the only person on the battlefield that would provide him with an honorable battle. Therefore, he had to kill the other Muskrats first.
Dami took great offense to Sir Eer's words and even greater offense when he began to ignore her and charge at the other Muskrats. Tazmeth dodged out of the way, a wise move by the intern. He proceeded to the backline of Brother Benignitas and Mother Aequalitas. Tazmeth's punches and slashes fell harshly upon Brother Benignitas and in that moment his only desire was to be shown kindness by Tazmeth. Unfortunately for Brother Benignitas, the young monk had little kindness to spare. His ki infused strikes stunned the Commandment and strikes that flowed so fast the human eye could not follow fell upon the Commandment. In the blink of an eye he was left in a puddle of his blood. Tazmeth stepped over Brother Benignitas and charged Mother Aequalitas to deliver the same fate. Mother Aequalitas attempted to escape to the air and use a pillar as cover, but she was not quick enough. Cambio caught her with his eldritch blasts and dragged her back into Tazmeth's grasp. Like Brother Benignitas, Mother Aequalitas met a rapid end. Despite killing two of the Commandments in rapid succession, Sir Eer was unscathed.
As the battle between Sir Eer and the Muskrats heated up, the Muskrats discovered that Sir Eer had blood infused crystals on his back that improved the defensive capabilities of his crystal armor. With that knowledge, the Muskrats launched an all out assault on the crystals to weaken Sir Eer. As the Muskrats played this dangerous game they had to flee from the deadly swings of Sir Eer's sword Breach. Counter Saval narrowly dodged a swing that cleaved a stone pillar in two. After nearly dodging that strike, Sir Eer followed up with a second strike with such impossible speed that Counter Saval could not dodge and was nearly cleaved in two. In the bloom of dust from the pillar falling, Counter Saval was able to escape. With no targets nearby Sir Eer revealed that his dragon-shaped shield had a cannon hidden within. He aimed and fired the cannon at Cambio. Cambio took the blast to the chest and was nearly impaled by the cannonball. He immediately began to retreat because it was obvious that Sir Eer had chosen him as a target. Moments later the last of his crystals were shattered and the Muskrats began to launch a counterattack.
The counterattack proved to be shortlived. As the Muskrats began to chip away at Sir Eer, he became serious. His once white hued crystal armor became blood red and small wisps of flame escaped from his mouth. Then in a moment of great misfortune, Cambio, Counter Saval, and Tazmeth aligned for a blast of fire breath that rivaled even an ancient dragon. Counter Saval collapsed, charred and badly burned. Cambio was forced to encase himself in ice but as soon as the ice formed it was burned away. That was when the relentless swings of Breach began to carve Cambio apart. Cambio fell but Sir Eer did not relent. His hatred for spellcasters driving his rage-filled swings. With a final swing he impaled Cambio and lifted his corpse up. His a flick of his wrist, he sent Cambio's flying across the battlefield, where it slammed into a pillar and slid to the ground leaving a long streak of blood.
It was up to Dami and Tazmeth. Or so Dami thought. When she looked back she realized Tazmeth had disappeared. Luckily for her it was in that moment that Itzal arrived. Unfortunately for Itzal, Sir Eer's hatred for spellcasters had not been extinguished and he charged the tortle wizard down and humbled him. With his swing of Breach, a dark shadow loomed over Itzal and then in a blink another piece of his body was carved up. Then Sir Eer reared up and slammed his front legs down sending a shock up Itzal's wobbly legs and Itzal himself to the ground. Another beating followed, much like the one Itzal had suffered at the hands of the pit fiend in Ashenfall, ensued. Narrowly Itzal escaped, crawling through the dust and gore. He reached the bodies of Cambio and Couner Saval and placed a wall of force over them after reviving them. It was then that the Muskrats realized why Sir Eer's sword was named Breach. It could cut through and dispel magic. The wall of force fell as soon as it had appeared and more deadly blows followed for Cambio and Itzal. However, Sir Eer was heavily wounded. During his relentless onslaught of the spellcasters, Dami had slowly been attacking him. With a final strike she cleaved his head from his shoulders and the brutal battle had finally ended.
The soul of Sir Eer was then pulled into Inferno's End and Dami saw his past. Sir Eer had once been a renowned champion of the Prime Material Plane and had served kings and emperors. With no challenges left he began to serve Asmodeus in the Blood War finding a new challenge in the endless onslaught of devils and demons. He gained fiendish powers and rose to new heights. However, soon he became bored with the lack of an adequate challenge but even more so with the lack of a higher purpose. Defecting from the frontlines of the Blood War, Sir Eer headed to Magmarath Caldera where he saw Anathema's failed invasion and defeat at the hands of Mizanoros. He saw her drive and intense passion for the very purpose for which she lived. He had fallen in love and had found what he had traveled the planes looking for: his calling. He was the first to drink the blood of Anathema and become a Commandment. He was the first Blade of Purity. All he desired was to serve her, but his final parting words to Dami within Inferno's End were simply, "Please save her."
The Muskrats licked their wounds and proceeded forward through the door that Sir Eer had been guarding. On the other side the Muskrats found themselves in a chamber filled with various clocks. A strange devil wearing numerous pocketwatches approached and stated, "Welcome to the Chamber of Time."
