Inferno's End

Forged from black Baatorian iron, Inferno's End has veins of hellfire that streak across the blade of the axe. To those who stand too close to the great axe they can feel a strong sense of sorrow and anger emitting from the axe.   Inferno's End provides a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with the axe.   Curse of Mephistopheles. Whenever you heal, while having at least one charge, you must make a Charisma saving throw equal to 5 plus the number of charges that Inferno's End has acquired. On a failed save you are overcome with blind hatred and a need for destruction. You attack all creatures around you indiscriminately. You repeat the saving throw at the end of each of your turns. Charges are lost at dawn.   Hellfire Strike. You ignite Inferno’s End as part of your attack action that lasts for 1 minute. When you ignite Inferno’s End add 1 charge to the axe. While ignited Inferno’s End deals an additional 1d8 fire. The fire damage dealt by Inferno’s End ignores fire resistance and treat fire immunity as fire resistance.   Hellfire’s Revenge. When a creature hits you with a melee attack you can use your reaction to cause Hellfire to leap from Inferno’s End to the target. The creature must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. It takes 2d10 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Add 1 charge to Inferno’s End.   Cast to Hell. When you kill a creature, you can choose to send a creature’s soul to the Nine Hells. When you do so you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to the damage roll that killed the creature. Add 2 charges to Inferno’s End.   Pillar of Hell. A vertical column of hellfire erupts from the ground as it emerges from the Nine Hells in a location you can see within 60 feet. Each creature in a 10-foot-radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within range must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 4d6 fire damage and 4d6 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Add 2 charges to Inferno's End.
