Erados

Erados , the unchanging lands is the largest continent on the Escathian sea, it is populated by all manor of races who have coexisted for many thousands of years, although not always harmoniously. This is the time of the third age, the age of man.   The First Age was the Age of expansion, where all of the races traveled and spread throughout the continent, The elves and dwarves were prominent, shepherding the other races, and teaching them. The Second Age was the age of Arcanus. During this time the Archmages appeared and constructed the arcane towers and crafted magic into a system that could be taught. This was an age of wonder and grandure, and the humans took to this magic like bugs to a corpse, growing in prominence among the races. The end of the second age was almost 800 years ago ,marked by the Ogre Wars, when the Ogre's banded together against all odds and rose up against the other races. Only the coalition of Man , Elf, Dwarf and the assistance of the Archmages was able to turn the tide and scatter the Ogre's across the lands. After the Victory the Archmages left Erados, the elves returned to their forests and Dwarves sought the comfort of their mountain homes, the humans were left to rebuild.   Order gradually grew out of the Chaos of war, Erados thrived and the new age brought forth many wonders as well as concealing the wonders of the previous age.
