Standing stalwart in front of the double doors, a man shows no emotion, though his insides are full of turmoil. His past has forcibly molded him into the soldier he is today, but he longs to go back to his boyhood and the family he once knew. This is the man who assisted in the establishment of Jordan on the throne. This is the man that tamed a fierce thief and helped quell a rebellion. This is the man who reunited with his long lost sister, keeping her safe from harm. This is the man who keeps the ruling couple safe day after day, coming home to two wonderful children and a farm to tend to, and he loves it.
This is Zeyd, co-protagonist of the second book in the Era Series, a soft super-solider and family man.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Strong, well-built, scarred, but healthy. He is in great physical condition, and has a workout plan established with Shani, as well as doing chores on the farm. He has to wear some glasses to read or do intricate tasks, especially in dim lighting.

Roundish-almond eyes, grecian-hooked wide nose, thin lips, square/diamond face shape.

Personal history
As a child, he watched his family get ripped apart. His brother, Ryen, became a soldier much before Zeyd did. He watched as his sister barely learned to walk on a pair of homemade crutches before she was taken away for a "study" on her strange affliction paired with telekinesis. Then, he was torn from his family as well, trained harshly to become a soldier like Ryen. As the years went on, he couldn't forget that his brother betrayed the nation and was killed by a firing squad, nor that his parents wasted away in the depths of the poor class and the pit of depression. But he's finding it harder and harder to remember that little girl he once knew, the little girl that called him Z and laughed at all his jokes, confiding in him night after night. He can barely remember her face, much less her name...
