The Rich Mountains

These mountains located in the eastern Eastern Desert are filled with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, gold, platinum, iron, copper, and many other precious materials. So much so that the area is actually pretty safe from bandits since they come and go with no need to steal.
The animals in the area are also quite docile compared to other regions. But the weather and temperatures will test even the strongest of travelers and beasts alike due to the extreme heat.
