Shamar
The City under the Arch
Shamar is located in the Western part of Hyboria. It is located on a large river and it's large natural arch is a site to behold. It is a smaller city due to the nature of its location, nearly in the Tybor river. It is home to all sorts of people and creatures most of which are friendly and willing to talk.
(The only other striking feature is that the town is almost entirely made of the local wood. Steel-wood they call it for it is as strong as steel and lighter too.) ~ Hilbert Rham
In actuality Steel-Wood is the typical greeting and farewell phrase that is used in the City.
