Messantia

The Rich Capital

Messantia is the Capital of Hyboria and one of, if not, the largest cities. It expands for miles along the coast of Upper Southern sea and is well known for being a place of all kinds of people. Knowledge is widespread here and the Ruler is elected by the people. This ruler is technically the highest judge of everyone on the continent though really there influence is mostly in the region around the city itself. Argos, Zingara, Ophir, Aquilonia, and Koth are the only remaining regions that still follow the direct commands from Messantia.
Overall though the city is very prosperous and has good relations with most cities it just no longer has enough overwhelming power to control them all since other cities have grown slowly to match that of the once singularly impressive Capital.

Demographics

A mix of humans, elves, gnomes, halflings, and a few dwarves. Most other races are scattered around the city as well in very low numbers.
