Easterwatch

The city of Easterwatch was built at the center of a relatively small peninsula and is truly an agricultural marvel. The climate of the area has helped create grounds fertile like none other. The waters are lush with the prized Eastern Goldenfish.

The leisurely lifestyle adopted by the citizens of Easterwatch has become somewhat of an envy among the other human cities. The city is primarily human, also has a high number of Hobbits living there, due to the close proximity of Silverypeak Town.

The leader of the city, Governor Edvard McCanless, is a loyal man to the crown of Imperios and faithful servant of Eostria.

Defences

The city is walled, however, the gates are open for trade at all times. There is a fair presence of The Easterwatch Guard throughout the city, keeping the peace. The Easterwatch Guard is the army of approximately 500 men protecting the city and upholding the King's will.

Industry & Trade

A majority of the residents of Easterwatch work in one of three trades, fishing, farming and trade. Since the land around the city is so fertile, agriculture flourishes. The waters of Easter Bay carry an abundance of the rich Eastern Goldenfish.

Fisherlings from Silverypeak Town often migrate south to Easterwatch to pursue a successful career in fishing. Entire clans have established themselves in Easterwatch as it has provided them an easy place to both fish and trade around the world.

On the topic of trade, Easterwatch has one of the busiest seaports in the world, transporting and selling food and fish to other towns and cities across Eostria.
