The Truth of the God's Origin

Years have I studied scroll upon scroll. In all the countries of the world, from The mighty Alteria to the desert plains of Ziti-Orna I have researched the myths and legends surrounding the gods of our world. What I found is thus. The gods are not some eternal unknowable force that created the world. They are rather in fact ancient heroes of renown who have gathered to themselves worshipers. These mortals give them power through belief. When the religion dies the gods dies. Through our prayers we give them powers above mortal men. Once sufficiently in power they may attempt to claim supremacy over one the domains of existence. Through this domain the gods can exert their influence on this world. It is a wonder that in this current age the gods have not changed. No great hero has elevated himself to even the lowliest of divinity. Perhaps the gods we know shall be the last.
