The Church of Creation

Mythology & Lore

Though highly suspect the church of Creation claims that Sankal created the entire universe and everything in it. This is highly disputed and only the most fervent of followers still follow this myth. It was said that Sankal made a great pot of stew and this became the world. He forged the mountains from his bones and made the soup stock from his blood.

Tenets of Faith

To show your devotion one must create something on his or her life. Often members of the church create many small items or trinkets or even just build or make things for their job.Truly devout followers will not only strive to create but to create something new and unique. This often becomes a sort of pilgrimage where followers achieve high rank or esteem based on their ultimate creations.

Ethics

Plagiarism is considered to be the ultimate sin. To steal anther's creation and claim it as your own is worse than not creating anything at all. If this happens the person is usually kicked out from the formal church.

Worship

The temples have no formal services. Instead when people congregate at the temple it is to have a place to sit and work on their projects. Often times groups of people will work together in their creations. The worship is seen in their creations.
