Ther Malduhr

The Overdwarves decided that the safest place from the deadly plague of Garamenia would be on the peaks of the tallest mountains. In the centuries since the establishment of Ther Malduhr, they have managed to keep the disease away through strong defenses and vigilant patrols atop pterodactyls native to these mountains. The thirty-three Great Houses trace their ancestry to the thirty-three dwarves that first established the city, and the Council of Elders consists of the oldest member of each house. Recently, trade has begun with the nearby nation of Estaria, although barely majority of the council supports this. Regardless, the peoples of both nations have greatly benefitted from the exchange of goods. Ther Malduhr's gemstones and artwork fetch quite a price across all of Eochora, and merchants are scrambling to get clearance into the citadel.
