Orius

The Sentinel in the Dark

Orius is the Entarion God of the Night and Stars.
After the Ancients became no more, their children rose to claim their thrones. Among them was Orius, who was given domain over the night by the other Entarion after the God Edaril convinced his brethren of the need for a guardian to watch over mortals while they slept. As such, he is strongly associated with Ignalvus, in part due to the dualistic nature of their existence as representatives of day and night, and the fact they rose the status of god at around the same time.
Seen as a protector and guardian against the beasts of the night, Orius is often prayed to by young children, rangers, and travelers journeying through the night. His devotees are known as the Sentinels of Orius.
