Heskar

The heskars are the major Enkin native to the layer: 005'0215'17'09.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The heskars are unique in that they are synthetic life imitating biological life. The heskars are slightly smaller than humans with a slender build, but other than that their body looks quite human with a mixture of a soft dark rubbery material and a lighter harder material. Their face are covered with two hard face plates. The upper one contains one large eye with two smaller eyes besides and slightly lower. Because the heskars bodies are made of different carbon-hydrogen compounds, they are quite resilient to damage and wear while also being light weight.

Genetics and Reproduction

As the heskars only have one gender every heskar is able to become pregnant. Conception does not happen through a sexual act and can occur both consciously and subconsciously. Conception occurs through transmission of a blueprint from one heskar to another who is open to receive a blueprint, but heskars only have semiconscious control over when to be open to transmitting or receiving blueprints. The heskars have a gestation period slightly shorter than that of humans.   Example of subconscious conception: Heskar 1 has just done a great deed that they are very proud of having done. They subconsciously are sending out blueprints. Heskar 2 has witnessed said deed, and find it very impressive. They are subconsiously open to receiving blueprints. Heskar 2 becomes pregnant.

Dietary Needs and Habits

For a heskar to function properly and keep their body maintained, they need access to source of carbon and clean water.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The heskars are able to communicate subconsciously through radiowaves, which allows them a greater level of empathy than most of the other major Enkin.
