The Collegium Planorum

Structure

Follows the same authority structure as the city of Toft .

Public Agenda

The Collegium Planorum is dedicated to the study of other planes of existence, the properties and laws that govern the other planes as well as all matters related to inter-planar travel and exploration.

Assets

The Portal
  • The Portal is the main way that the Gandbera’s of the Collegium Planorum investigate other planes. Built in one of the lower halls of the Blue Tower, The Portal is a massive device that allows its user to view locations on other planes. While it is capable of making travel to the viewed plane possible, it is primarily used for research.
  • The Gandberas of the college are very careful to ensure that they prevent creatures and the denizens of the planes from entering the world of Enga. However, accidents do happen on occasion. For this reason, when the Portal is in use, the Bellum Devinos stations 50 mages in the halls outside the Portal Chamber. Should anything overwhelm the Portals user, and escape the wards on the Chamber, they are there to prevent its escape. So far, this method has worked.

History

The collegium was founded shortly after completion of the Blue Tower. They immediately claimed the lower floors of the Tower and began construction of the Portal. Construction took almost 25 years.   One of the 6 Councilors that helped the Hoystr Gothi of Ulf to cast the spell that caused The Breaking was a member of the Collegium Planorum. They were instrumental in constructing the spell, but due to the results, the Collegiums next Councilor destroyed all research related to the spell.
