The Valley of Bones

Geography

The Valley of Bones makes up the southernmost reaches of the Sal'kajar desert, spanning as far south as Malen's Regret. The Valley itself is dangerously hot and filled with treacherous creatures. A deceptive magic also lingers throughout the valley forming mirages and illusions that are not always the making of an individual's mind. The sloping dunes are littered with the bones of creatures large and small, all of which died trying to pass through the valley, or fell pray to other creatures trying to survive.

Fauna & Flora

The Valley of Bones does not have a thriving ecostystem of its own. Rather, whatever creatures find themselves there feed off of other creatures to live. Some have become more successful than others, though even the most powerful creatures or communities fall prey to the heat of the sun and the palpable lack of natural food or water.
