Glenncroft

The capital of Loughland, Glenncroft is famously beautiful for its strange design. From afar, the city appears as the stump from a tree that would reach far into the clouds. The more religious folks of Loughland and Hrafnlandr-Fjell would tell you this was is no coincidence. Rumor has it that the hollowed-out stump that makes up the capital's outer walls was once the home of Huginn and Muninn, but after a great cataclysm, the ravens left it in the care of Cerridwen for safe keeping. Some evidence of this can be found as the city's walls, despite being a hollowed-out stump, still lives and appears healthy.

The interior of Glenncroft is a beautiful, sprawling city with wooden homes and vast greenery. The city is made up of many earthen mounds, rising up from beautiful and clear ponds. Much of the infrastructure is either dirt roads or well-maintained bridges that span the gaps between mounds. Due to the city's connection to nature, many large creatures live in the city's ponds; these creatures include, but are not limited to, turtles, fish, dragonflies, and the occasional squirrel.
