The Lands of Endaro is made up of 2 vast continents and a mass of Islands great and small nestled in the western sea. The Western Continent is known as Gren and is divided by five kingdoms. These regions are separated by vast distances and have risen in the relative isolation of each other. This separation, however, has not stopped wars and battles between their peoples from breaking out.   Nothing is known of the continent that lies to the East, and it is known as 'The Dark Lands,' no mortal man has ever stepped foot on its shores and returned to Gren to tell the tale of what was found there. The superstitious believe it is a place of great evil, where the dead walk the lands prepared to wage war on the living. Still, the more pragmatic believe the real cause of many a missing adventurer is the wild currents and ferocious storms that perpetually afflict 'The savage Sea.'   Gren is ruled by five kingdoms but is split into seven domains. To the North in the great boreal wilderness is 'The Reaches,' the keep of TalonBane oversees this cold and harsh land under the lineage of Bane, a proud family who have ruled these lands for many generations.   To the south-east lies the great merchant city of 'Sidmark Port,' a huge sprawling metropolis filled with wares and goods from all the civilized lands, this magnificent city is overseen by the merchant council, a body of the wealthiest traders who hold an assembly on the matters of state. The domain of 'Sidmark Port' extends to the surrounding areas known as 'The Easterlands' and encompasses many small communities and villages.   At the Center of Gren lies a gigantic lake, and at its heart lies a large island, built upon this vast landmass lies a massive fortress city. This city is known only as 'The Citadel.' Its lands encompass the entirety of the island, and its mysterious rulers also claim dominion of the waters of the great lake. These lands are more widely known as 'Equatoria.' The leader of this land is wrapped in a mystery; his name and his lineage remain unknown to outsiders. All that is known is that the people of this land are great engineers and architects, that prefer to live in isolation, far from the petty squabbles of the other kingdoms.   To the west lies the ramshackle settlements of the Westerlands, its capital is known only as Westland Traders, named after the first settlers of this cold, bleak land. It is across all of the Westrerlands that some of the poorest people of Gren live. These lands are desolate, the areas wrapped in a permanent icy drizzle, and the coast is blasted with biting cold winds. These lands have no ruler, it is a lawless country where only the strong survive, but many groups together in small communities to fight off the brigands and roaming beasts of these lands.   To the far southwest lies the kingdom of 'Calderos,' surrounded by magnificent forests and towering mountain ranges, the region takes its name from the capital. It is the seat of power of the kings of Calder, a new line since the recent civil war ousted the old royal family and replaced them with a new dynasty. A place that was once known as a tranquil and quiet place now has a reputation for the warmongering and brutal reign of its new king, who tolerates no dissent and will not think twice about purging his enemies. However, King Calder I, has the loyalty and devotion of his troops, making him a formidable opponent in the growing unrest in Gren.   East of Calderos Lies the vast swampland's of 'The Miderian Fens.' the capital city of this land is known as Mideros. The thick fens to the north and impenetrable depths of Blackwood Deep to the south has made this kingdom on of the most fertile in the land, and one of the most defensible, its main export has always been food grown from the fast tracts of land it holds under its dominion. Mideros has significantly prospered over the last forty years under the careful guidance of its leader Lord Grey, but in recent months his health has been declining. With no blood heir, the future leadership is in question.   To the south, through the great impenetrable forests of BlackWood Deep lies Port Pride. Port Pride is a large township where people of all the kingdoms and lands mingle freely. Initially, the port was set up as a mining and forestry colony of 'Sidmark Port,' the people eventually rebelled and declared independence. After a brutal year of conflict, the merchant council decided to cut their losses and leave the people of Port Pride to forge their path in life. Despite not being a kingdom, the running of the city-state is handled by a body of elected representatives chosen from the people who call Port Pride their home.   Finally, the islands that Lie between 'Gren' and 'The Dark Lands' are 'The Great Archipelago.' A maze of islands both large and small, the people of these lands are rich and diverse in culture, with Major city-states, to the lowly Corsair Pirate lords, and Even estates dedicated to the monks and priests. The islands are numerous, and the currents treacherous, but it is a vibrant and rich mix of cultures, governments, and factions.
