Stonesider

In the capitol city of Point Lemaign, there exists a monopoly on sea transportation. The Stonesider Company & Associates are the worlds foremost producers of naval vessels named Stonesiders, large ships covered in a rocky exterior so they may travel through the Wend. The company exists extranationally, is beholdant to no nation's laws, and acts in its own self interests. They are the sole patent owners and product producers, and the standard seafaring Stonesider is their crown jewel.   As a rule, Stonesiders are the size of Carracks, with a degree of variance due to commissions from other parties, experimentation, and the purpose of rounding out naval roles and purposes, and are usually much harder to produce than real life Carracks and slower, but with a stronger hull than real life seafaring vessels. They are typically used by the military, nobility, or powerful merchant societies.
