Rawhides are quadrupedal bovine creatures, slightly larger than your average cow with a few distinct features, those being it's thicker, darker, and much denser skin and ibex-like horns.

Rawhides are accustomed to life in the badlands, typically shying away from coastal, forested, or desert regions.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Rawhides are pure herbivores, subsisting on badlands shrubs and cacti.

Biological Cycle

As a rawhide ages, it's horns grow and spiral. It is uncommon but still possible that the horns of particularly old rawhides curve into their eyes, thus necessitating ranchers to shave their horns.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

By and large they are used for dairy, beef, and leather, with some small niches for burden, however they are usually outclassed by scumbags in nearly every way in this regard.

Rawhides are most commonly found in and around Lemaign due to high quantities of ranchers.

Rawhides are infamous for being quite stupid, but fortunately, very obedient.

Rawhides have poor vision and hearing but host a distinctly advanced olfactory sense.

Conservation Status

Not only are rawhides common, they are widespread. Being cattle creatures, they are among the first animal a rancher would kill and butcher.
