Racial Distribution

Unlike some traditional Dungeons and Dragons settings like Faerun and Greyhawk, Endais has an unusual variety of races, with some of the least common races becoming the most common, and the lore behind them (and even wholesale names of the races) being changed.
  • Dragonfolk (AKA Courtiers or Dragonborn) make up around 12% of the total world population. Their population growth is slightly below average. They are not widespread, with the largest concentration being 75% of their population in Blacksand.
  • Humans (AKA Cityfolk or Manlings) make up around 11% of the worlds population. Their population growth is currently the benchmark. They are spread somewhat evenly, with the largest concentration being 29% of their population in Lemaign.
  • Machinefolk (AKA Automata or Warforged) make up around 11% of the total world population. Their population growth is the worst overall. They are spread fairly evenly, with the largest concentration being 20% of their population in Ense.
  • Tiefling (AKA Fiendkin or Hornfolk) make up around 10% of the total world population. Their growth rate is slightly above average. They are spread fairly evenly, with the largest concentration being 15% in Lemaign.
  • Dwarves make up around 10% of the total world population. Their growth rate is below average. They are more populous around and north of the Doubt Mountains, with the largest concentration being 30% of their population in Sildais.
  • Halflings make up around 9% of the total world population. Their growth rate is slightly above average. They are more populous around and south of the Doubt Mountains, with the largest concentration being 43% in Aolakul.
  • Elves make up around 8% of the total world population. Their growth rate is significantly below average. They are not widespread, with the largest population being 88% in Kabrist.
  • Orcs make up around 6% of the total world population. Their growth rate is above average. They are evenly spread, with the largest concentration being 15% in Nrun.
The remaining races are either small enclaves gathered up in one location or so evenly spread out that they can be found in any location.
