Cackletus

Cackletus is a type of peculiar cactus that grows in the badlands. Not to be confused with gazer cactus, cackletus are a vaguely humanoid shaped cacti that stores freshwater. Older cackleti creates heat which causes the water to turn into steam and increases pressure inside the cactus. The steam then leaks out, creating a sound that vaguely sounds like laughter. After laughing for a few moments, the cacletus then violently explodes, sending scalding water and seed-and-needle covered cactus chunks flying in all directions.

Ecology and Habitats

It typically grows in the Endian west, and usually south of the Doubt Mountains.

Conservation Status

While uncommon, it is not endangered.
