Bickers

Basic Information

Anatomy

Bickers are large white beetles that are covered in large white feathers. Bickers tend to grow up to 1ft tall in all dimensions, though older ones can be up to 1 1/2 to 2ft in dimensions. Visually, they appear to be just a feather colored hemisphere that glides across the ground. they have a small set of mandibles, four eyes, and six short legs.

Growth Rate & Stages

Bickers tend to grow to adulthood in about 18 months. They are considered "old" by 2 1/2 years, and they tend to die of old age at year 3.

Ecology and Habitats

They prefer badlands near fossilrivers, due to these locations having a high number of dead creatures near nutient-rich fossilgrit beaches which benefits their scavenger lifestyles.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Bickers are omnivorous scavengers with a resistance to fossilwater. They use their mandibles along side a small sucker to consume dead creatures and plants. They tend to stick near fossilrivers but are known to migrate if there are too many predators or other bickers in one place.

A young bicker start off with short dark grey feathers which lighten over time. Once they get old, their feathers slowly fall out over the rest of their lifespan, revealing the light grey carapace underneath.
