Growing up on Terra, and being born into a relatively high-income family has gained Jose a sizable advantage in his life. He always had a talent for robotics and programming. And thus after finishing middle school he has started a small robotics shop. He was making decent amounts of money until the war came. Lured by the promise of citizenship into the NATO military, he still got off easy as most of his time during the war was spent in a support regiment as a gun platform technician.

After the war, he has returned to his robotics business with a slight alteration, during the war he has seen first hand how many combat units are just left on the battlefield after a long and exhausting battle. Thus he has decided to make a group of likely minded "grave robbers" and scavenge for those lost units to restore them and sell them on the grey and black market.
He claims that Donald has helped him with something in his past, altho he never elaborates deeper than that.
