Esindra

The Esindran Empire was a sprawling example of human warlike ingenuity. Led by an elected emperor, the Empire spread and spread, subsuming nation after nation and eventually leaving the continent itself to colonise and wage war elsewhere. Esindra was a huge military power, and made many enemies, and many allies. But de to their position, they gathered the cream of the scientific crop and were very well funded, as such the technologies developed in Esindra were among the best.

The Esindran Empire was developing airships when the Great War struck. Following the Great War the Empire collapsed and was divided into several provinces, many of which are the countries we know today, plus or minus those that were absorbed by more powerful rising nations.

After a civil war across the continent, Esindra finds itself divided by The Fence, a literal divide cutting across the valleys of Ivenekan and Faltheste. The Fence separates Northern Esindra, whose biggest powers are Nasiria and Vetnes; and Southern Esindra, largest led by Erewroth. Nasiria and Erewroth are enemies currently locked in a cold war, fighting for military supremacy and dominance over the continent, and the world.

The landscape of Esindra is perhaps the most scarred by the Great War. Valleys are torn asunder by crevaces of scorched earth, craters of vitrified earth pockmark the valleys and mountainsides show the signs of stray fire and crashes. Remnants of the War wan be found everywhere here, from bunkers, to old weapons, buried mines, or dormant, abandoned Warforged.
