Kolathar Isles (KOOlúthàr Ails)
The Kolathar Isles
The Kolathar Isles are the homelands of the Alenerii, a tribe of Changelings. The history of the Islands are only discussed in the Alenerii's story of creation: Before the existence of time, there was chaos and darkness. From chaos and darkness came the heavenly spirits, who walked the void and formed the Eik'onii (universe). To fill the void, some became the heavenly bodies such as the sun, the stars and the heavenly spheres. Others formed the laws of time, energy and form, creating the fabric of existence. In this early Eik'onii, chaos still ruled dominant. In these times the twelve created Esios as their cradle, and the Alenerii as their children, to inhabitate their plane of existence. For a time, all was well in the plane of Esios and the Alenerii. Though in time, the Alenerii grew to reject the old gods and sought to rule Esios in their own right. Their hubris became their downfall. The 12 abandoned Esios, taking only their most devout, the Kaii, inhabitants of Koluthar, with them. When they left, the moved their home, the Koluthar Ilses, to the plane of Ko-ún. Whilst chaos returned to Esios, the chosen people lived on alongside the twelve: Sirus the father, spirit of the heavens Mela the mother, spirit of the people Helon the light, spirit of the day Daru the dark, spirit of the night Efion the wise, spirit of the sea Kala the warm, spirit of the land Aferii the kind, spirit of love Hermerai the witty, spirit of change Firensue the bold, spirit of bravery Boronei the cold, spirit of time Peresepha the joyful, spirit of life Alexor the dreadful, spirit of deathMaps
