Air Elves

Air elves enjoy being free to do what they want. They live wherever they wish. As they get older though they go and live in mountaintop temples they’ve created over the centuries. These temples tend to only house the older Air elves as the younger ones spend their time exploring the world, but it is not unheard of Air elves seeking to live in the temples when they are young as the temples hold a great library of knowledge that Air elves look for. Usually, those who seek the temples when they are young will have kids who are born and group up there. Air elves mature around 50 years old as they tend to live dangerous lives and don’t live as long as normal elves.

Biological Traits

Natural Drifter: For millennia Air elves have travelled the world, never staying in one place for long. As such they’ve gained a natural ability to always know how to get to their next destination. They’ve also gained a natural foresight as while they know how to get to a place they don’t know the dangers that lurk ahead. In other words, they can make an Insight check on their current area (30ft) to see if they think danger is nearby.
Natural Leader: Air elves are born leaders. They’ll find themselves with a group and almost immediately (and accidentally) taking on the role of the leader. Thus an Air elf will have the Inspiring Leader feat and can choose either a +1 bonus to Charisma or proficiency with any Charisma-based skill.

Common Physicality: Air elves tend to be more monochrome than anything else. White hair, skin, eyes are very common but there have been Air elves with greyer complexions and others have had eyes of many other colours. The best way to describe an Air elf’s appearance is to compare them to the clouds, many are fluffy and white, but there are the dark storm clouds that lurk within.
