Sirazu

The continent to the southeast of Ylirn, connected to it by the land bridge called the Lonely Span. This continent is where the Mahiri desert is located, as well as several human, dragonborn and high elven civilizations.
The current name in common is a misnomer, a severe bastardization of the Imba word for 'east'. This is due to language confusion, as the Mahiri in question were speaking about the lands to the east of their desert, but it was interpreted as the name for the entire continent. The mahiri themselves call the continent Ardhi (Land). The high elves call it Anguldor (land of dragons), as they still remember something of when the dragons ruled this continent.
In Draconic ir used to be called Irthaczil (one land) when it was one empire.

Geography

Notable geographic elements of this continent are the large Mahiri desert in the west and center, the volcanic mountain range of the Ixejirerthicha along the southwest coast, the savanna transitioning into open woods in the north and the tropical rain forests in the south.
