Sven Forest
Geography
This forest is large, taking up approximately 5% of the Endinsian Continent. It is due west of the city of Sve Alari, and just south of the Torobi Mountain Chain. The Gane'dha river runs through the middle of the forest, providing a fresh water source for the flora and fauna within.
Ecosystem
It is a deciduous forest, providing shelter for the organisms living within.
Ecosystem Cycles
Flying creatures tend to migrate south to the peninsula of Vininsia during the months of Wreh to Draill. Some creatures will hybernate. Procreation season is during the months of Zaros through Ijurik, though is a bit shorter due to being a bit cooler of a climate.
Climate
It is a temperate forest, thus it goes through the four seasons. Being south of frigid End'oria gives it a bit more variation in seasons, although it still has a tendency to get freezing in the winter time. Overall, the climate is pretty stable.
Temperature
The temperatures within the forest tend to border around 5º-10ºC during the warmer months, given it's location close to the Torobi Mountain Chain and being fairly north. During the cooler months, it hovers around -8ºC to about -20ºC.
Precipitation
The Sven forest sees around 700mm to 1200mm of rain annually. There is no rainy season, and thus the rain is spread out evenly throughout the year. About 5-10% of the annual precipitation comes in the form of snow, which the tree branches tend to stop from fully hitting the ground.
Fauna & Flora
The Sven Forest has a diverse range of flora and fauna, just like any other deciduous forest. About 75% of the trees in this forest are a special kind of tree called a hyledhia, which is best-known for their wisteria-purple leaves. In the spring and summer, the leaves are purple, then in fall they, just like regular trees, turn brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow before dropping! Aside from the hyledhias, the remaining trees are regular, broad-leaved deciduous trees. Additionally, there is a very small portion of the trees in the forest that are coniferous.
Natural Resources
History
Rumors had it faeries used to live in this forest around the beginning of Enarian history, favoring the beautiful hyledhia trees for their homes and would go into hibernation when autumn arrived. Locals claim faeries still live in this forest, they just keep themselves very much hidden because of humans.
Tourism
Tourists like to come visit and experience the beauty of the forest and the mountains at the same time. It's very much a beloved forest of Vininsia.

Having the map at the top of the page makes it very difficult to scroll down and actually read the article, because there is not room on the screen to interact with anything OTHER than the map. Once you get there, though, it's descriptive! Thanks for sharing!
