Molthía Larénge (Mol-θi-ɜː lɜː-ɻe̞ŋ-æ)

A day to celebrate the days being longer, lighter, and warmer with cooking competitions and artistic displays across the Endinsian Continent.

Execution

Every 21 Xigira, Endinsians gather in their cities and celebrate the joy of the long season. Local chefs, which I consider artists, have a fun competition in the city square to see who makes the best dish that year. The only real prize is bragging rites, but it's really just all for the fun of it, and people get to try out new dishes. With End'oria and Vininsia both being a garden salad of countries, sometimes there's even a new dish from a local immigrant!

For the painters and other types of artists, they bring pieces to submit for showcase during the event, which also gets displayed in the city square. There is no real competition, everyone's art is admired with love. The only thing is to stick with the theme of summer or the artist's interpretation of it.

Artists and chefs both are blessed by local priests for the patron deity of the arts, Daizon, to be given inspiration whenever they desire for the next year. Priests of Daizon also give out little goodie bags of sweets from across the world, some extra money, and a paper talisman called a 'lhyina' to burn in times of creative need.

During this time, as there is the local show case, local artists are encouraged to sell their artwork during this time if they so choose. Byronir Beservera, a local artist, enjoys bringing out his resin art and selling it to others. Many flock to him for his resin art, especially because this is the one time of year he offers discounts.
